Engineer Race Cars Summer Camp @ Hinsdale Covenant Church
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! RoboThink invites your student to an electrifying camp that combines the thrill of building with the exhilaration of racing. From crafting sleek race cars to burning rubber on the track, this camp offers an action-packed experience like no other. But wait, there's more! Your student will also get a crash course in the inner workings of cars, exploring the intricate world of transmissions, pistons, and differentials. So, fasten your seat belts and get ready to unleash your inner race car engineer! No prior experience required– just a love for the fast lane!
Topics Covered: Explores how to use mainboards, switches, IR sensors, gears, DC motors and axles, as well as how to build the perfect paper airplane!
Date: Monday June 23 - Friday June 27
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm (3 hour duration)
Recommended Age: 7-12

Pick Up
If you have time, we highly suggest coming to class 15 minutes early to see what your student made, take photos and videos, and help the clean-up process.
Drink and Snack
You can send a water bottle and a snack with students - water only, please.
AGREEMENTS AND POLICIES
ROBOTHINK PHOTO RELEASE AGREEMENT - You will be able to accept or deny this release during registration.
I acknowledge that while my child is attending this RoboThink program, he/she may be photographed by a still or video camera. I authorize RoboThink, LLC. to utilize my child’s photographic image without identification in its brochures and advertisements in any media, including RoboThink’s website. In giving my consent, I hereby release and hold harmless RoboThink and its agents from any and all responsibility or liability relating to the use of the photographs. I understand that neither my child nor I will receive compensation should any photograph authorized hereunder be used.
CANCELLATION POLICY
By registering, you agree to the Cancellation Policy. Cancellations received at least one week prior to the start date of camp will receive a full refund of the registration fee. There are no refunds or make-ups for missed classes. If a class is cancelled due to weather or other events, the class will be rescheduled or refunds for each class canceled will be issued. Thank you for your understanding.
